FBO filter assemblies are designed to withstand the harshest industrial refueling conditions while allowing for easy cartridge replacement. The FBO assemblies can be used in a variety of applications, including mobile refuelers, refueling cabinets, diesel fuel dispensing pumps, and primary fuel filters/water separators for large diesel engines.

The assembly features a locking ring collar that secures the filter housing to the die-cast aluminum filter head with four bolts. The locking ring collar allows a single person to easily loosen the four collar bolts by hand, rotate the assembly, and lower the bowl assembly to replace the filter element. Once the new element is installed, simply raise the bowl, rotate it into position, and hand-tighten the bolts evenly to complete the maintenance.

FBO assemblies are also ideal for biofuel applications due to their ease of maintenance, rugged construction, and optional electric heater.
