Njord automatic fuel polishing systems are recommended for use on board yachts that have 12- or 24-volt DC power available and limited space. To ensure that the fuel remains in good condition and meets the engine manufacturers’ fuel cleanliness requirements, it is essential to keep the water content below 70 ppm and achieve at least an 18-16-13 ISO 4406:1999 particle size distribution. This is achieved by using the Njord automatic fuel polishing systems, which operate in a parallel recirculation loop connected to the fuel tank.
