Fuel Filters

  • Cim-Tek 800 particulate element 2 μ CT70814

Cim-tek filters are an economical and effective way to remove emulsified water, particulate and micro-organism from fuel and oil. Free water is best removed using a water separator – preferably before the fuel pump, as the water does make the Cim-teks block. we recommend Separ or Racor water separators. Cim-tek elements either only take out particulate or both particulate and emulsified water. They are available with nominal cellulose filter elements as well as the much more effective absolute glass fibre based filter elements, and then with or without absorption material to eliminate the emulsified water from the fuel or oil. The latter prevents the growth of micro-organism. Different element and filter head sizes are for different pump flow rate rates. The lower the micronnage on the filter, the better it filters and removes water.

  • Filter element 01030 SWK2000/10 30μ

The SEPAR 2000 should be installed on the suction side of the fuel system, between the fuel feed tank and the engine mounted fuel lift pump.
Install the filter in an accessible position to allow water and particulate removal and filter element change (a minimum of 60mm is required for element change)
Separ 2000 series of fuel/water separators are compatible with B100 biodiesel.
Separ 2000 series water separators fuel filters are a simple solution to many different fuel related problems.
Five separate stages of filtration ensure 99.9% water separation (Certified TUV Report using SAE J1839) at maximum flow.
Low restriction reduces wear on fuel pumps and ensures full RPMs.
Back flushable (cleanable) element reduces down time and costly element changes.
The ideal position for the filter is at the same height as the lift pump. However if the top of the fuel tank is above this position a full flow ball valve should be fitted, before, the filter so that the fuel flow can be shut off to allow filter maintenance.
In applications where the fuel level is below the filter it is still advisable to install a full flow ball valve to prevent fuel draining back into the fuel tank.

  • Cim-Tek 800 hydroglass particulate element 10 μ CT70024

Spin-on filters are an economical and efficient way to get emulsified water, particulate and micro-organism from fuel and oil. Free water should be taken out using a water separator – preferably before the fuel pump. Elements either just take out particulate or both particulate and emulsified water. Elements are available with nominal cellulose elements as well as absolute glass fibre based filter elements. Absorption material is used to get the emulsified water out of the fuel or oil. Different sizes for different flow rate ranges.
