  • Njord Fuel Conditioner NFC-200

    Njord Magnetic Fuel Conditioners drastically reduce particle size in in diesel fuel, lube and hydraulic oils and other light distillates. Smaller particles mean less deposits on injectors, pumps, valves and tanks plus a better combustion as large particles cause incomplete combustion and formation of soot. Smaller particles also reduce the number of filter changes, and let you go down in micronnage of your filters. Because the injecots stay cleaner, the injeciton pattern is better and the consumption lower.

    Next to that they stop microbial growth that can lead to the build-up of cellular product (jelly-like slime) produced by the organisms which block filters. Njord Fuel Conditioners provide the magnetic conditioning chamber which causes induction to occur in microbes suspended in the fuel and passing through the flow path of the Njord Fuel Conditioners. This action disrupts the electrical balance of the cell membrane, preventing it from colonizing and producing the corrosive acids and the cellular slime that coats tanks and blocks fuel filters. In this fashion they control microbial contamination.

    Turbine Series filter assemblies are designed to be installed on the vacuum side of the fuel transfer pump for best efficiency and protect precision engine components from dirt, rust, algae, asphaltines, varnishes, and especially water, which is prevalent in engine fuels. They remove contaminates from fuel using the following legendary three stage process:

    Stage One: Separation
    As fuel enters the filter assembly, it moves through the centrifuge and spins off large solids and water droplets which fall to the bottom of the collection bowl.

    Stage Two: Coalescing
    Small water droplets bead-up on the surface of the conical baffle and cartridge element. When heavy enough, they too fall to the bottom of the bowl.

    Stage Three: Filtration
    Proprietary Aquabloc®II cartridge elements repel water and remove contaminants from fuel down to two micron (nominal). They are waterproof and effective longer then water absorbing elements.

    Install the filter in an accessible position to allow water and particulate removal and filter element change (a minimum of 60mm is required for element change)
    Separ 2000 series of fuel/water separators are compatible with B100 biodiesel.
    Separ 2000 series water separators fuel filters are a simple solution to many different fuel related problems.
    Five separate stages of filtration ensure 99.9% water separation (Certified TUV Report using SAE J1839) at maximum flow.
    Low restriction reduces wear on fuel pumps and ensures full RPMs.
    Back flushable (cleanable) element reduces down time and costly element changes.
    The ideal position for the filter is at the same height as the lift pump. However if the top of the fuel tank is above this position a full flow ball valve should be fitted, before, the filter so that the fuel flow can be shut off to allow filter maintenance.
    In applications where the fuel level is below the filter it is still advisable to install a full flow ball valve to prevent fuel draining back into the fuel tank.

  • Fuel Polishing System APS-2400-F-Pro

    Njord automatic Fuel Polishing Systems are recommended for use on board yachts that have 12 or 24 Volt DC available and limited space.To bring and keep the fuel in good condition and meet the engine manufacturers’ fuel cleanliness requirements, it is essential to keep water content below 70 ppm and reach at least an 18-16-13 ISO 4406:1999 particle size distribution. This is realized using the Njord automatic Fuel Polishing Systems running in a parallel recirculation loop to the fuel tank.
